It’s going to be another great year of music in the city

Bristolian music lovers are set for another bumper year of concerts in 2026. Here is a non-exhaustive list of some of the best gigs already confirmed for the new year.
Bristol Sounds
The annual favourite returns to the Harbourside in June. Confirmed acts are The Kooks, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Super Furry Animals and Royel Otis, with The Streets taking arguably top billing as they play their seminal album A Grand Don’t Come For Free in full on two sold-out nights.
Siren Festival
Indie lovers are in for a treat with The Maccabees the first act to be confirmed for next year’s Siren, also held at the Amphitheatre. It will be the London band’s first Bristol gig in 14 years
Dot to Dot
Lambrini Girls and Newdad are two of the biggest names on the line-up for next year’s Dot to Dot festival, split across multiple venues around the city.
Bristol Beacon/Beacon Hall
A host of huge names will take to the Beacon’s stage next year. They include: Mogwai (Feb 22), Franz Ferdinand (March 7, sold out), Echo and the Bunnymen (March 13), Lily Allen (sold out on March 17), Happy Mondays (April 3), Tori Amos (sold out on April 11), Blue (April 19/20), Ludovico Einaudi (May 4, sold out), James Morrison (May 26), Marina (formerly Marina and the Diamonds, sold out, May 27), Kraftwerk (sold out on June 1), Beverley Knight (June 19).
O2 Academy
Some of the most eye-catching acts to be confirmed at the Academy next year include Miles Kane on Feb 2, Maximo Park on Feb 11, Sigrid on March 14
The Prospect Building
2026 is shaping up to be a bit of a rock and indie fiesta at the Prospect Building. The Fratellis will play a sold out gig on February, followed by The Vaccines on March 11 (sold out). Ocean Colour Scene, celebrating 30 years of their Moseley Shoals album, appear on December 11. Away from rock, Bristol’s own Roni Size plays with LTJ Bukem on March 27. Beloved Kiwi outfit Fat Freddy’s Drop are making the long trip to Bristol for a sold out gig on October 16.
Electric Bristol (formerly SWX)
Elles Bailey, an award-winning Bristolian Blues musician, plays on March 21. She’s followed by Leigh-Anne Pinnock of Little Mix fame on April 10. President (with a top secret frontman) play a sold out gig on April 18, iconic Welsh band Goldie Lookin Chain return to Bristol on September 26 and The Undertones play a leg of their 50th anniversary tour on November 14.
Other events to look out for in the calendar but which have yet to confirm their line-ups include Love Saves The Day, Bristol Pride and Forwards.
