The January transfer window is not only an opportunity for Leeds United to sign some players next month, but it is also a chance for Leeds to evaluate their out-on-loan stars.
PSR does not look as if it will be a problem going into the next four weeks, with Leeds boasting around £20 to £25m to spend on new signings before crossing the border, despite Robbie Evans’ comments.
Leeds have been linked with Lazio’s Taty Castellanos, Nottingham Forest playmaker James McAtee, the Union Berlin defender Danilho Doekhi and even Portugal international and Al Hilal star Ruben Neves.
It’s not all about potential signings, though. Some Leeds players have been linked with the exit door as Valencia eye a surprise move for Jack Harrison, and then decisions must be made on Leeds’ loanees.

Largie Ramazani has endured a dismal spell on loan at Valencia
It came as a surprise that Carlos Corberan was eyeing another Leeds winger in Harrison, when he already had Largie Ramazani on the books. But Belgian ace Ramazani has struggled since going out on loan.
Much like Mateo Joseph at Mallorca, Leeds worked hard to avoid a permanent option being included in the loan for Ramazani. His loan comes a year after he completed a £10m move to Leeds from Almeria.

Ramazani has played little over 200 minutes for Valencia since joining on loan, having to contend with injuries during that spell. Spanish site El Desmarque shares what is set to happen to Ramazani in January.

They say: ‘The Belgian does not have a purchase option, and his playing time this season has been very limited, so everything points to him returning to Leeds United.’
Would you integrate Largie Ramazani if his loan is cancelled?
Or would you send him back out on loan…

Could Largie Ramazani play a part for Leeds if he does return?
If Ramazani’s loan is cancelled, then Leeds have one of two options. Either, Ramazani returns to allow for Harrison to leave the club, or Leeds send him out on loan for a second time for the rest of the season.
Ramazani has not played for Leeds this season despite being on the bench against Everton, and that allows him to play for another club aside from Valencia or Leeds. Leeds will have to make that decision.
But for now, Ramazani remains at Valencia and there is no indication that he will return to Leeds from sources at this end of the loan deal. Especially, with the 3-5-2 system not actually requiring wide men.
Leeds have six players out on loan in total. Alongside Ramazani, there is Joseph, Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Crew and Werder Bremen duo Isaac Schmidt and Max Wober.
