A 44-year-old man has appeared in court charged with breaking into two supermarkets.
Dean Cochrane of no fixed address, was arrested after an alarm was activated at the Iceland in Havelock Square, Swindon, at 23:30 GMT on Tuesday.
A glass door and cabinet containing alcohol were found damaged, Wiltshire Police said. Mr Cochrane was further charged with break-ins at a nearby Tesco and Greggs also in Havelock Square.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on New Year’s Day, where he was remanded into custody ahead of a hearing at the same court on 7 January.
