A road is closed in both directions due to a lorry being stuck. The incident affects Coch-Y-Cwm Road in Bonymaen, Swansea. The road was shut at around 3pm on Friday and is “expected to remain closed for some time”.

A spokesman for South Wales Police confirmed the incident involves a heavy good vehicle which got stuck beneath low hanging tree branches. An earlier statement from the force reads: ” We’re at the scene of an incident on Coch-Y-Cwm Road, Bonymaen

“The road is currently closed in both directions between the junction of Ty Draw Road and the junction of Dinam Road.

“It is expected to remain closed for some time; please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. We’re grateful for your patience.”
