A man and a four-year-old girl have been taken to hospital following a crash. Merseyside Police were called to Gorsey Lane in Bold, St Helens at around 11.10am on Friday, January 2 to reports of a crash, involving two cars.
Merseyside Police said a 28-year-old man suffered a serious arm injury and has been taken to hospital. A four-year-old child had a cut to finger and has been taken to hospital to get checked over, a spokesperson for the force confirmed.
Police arrested a 24-year-old woman from Winsford on suspicion of serious injury by dangerous driving. Road closures are currently in place and motorists have been asked to avoid the area while enquiries are ongoing.
