Aston Expressway in Birmingham closed over ‘technology fault’

One of Birmingham’s busiest roads closed on Saturday evening due to a “technology fault”.

The A38(M), known as the Aston Expressway, is shut in both directions between Park Circus and Dartmouth Circus.

National Highways said it was due to a technological fault and urged drivers to allow extra time if they were travelling in the area.

Police are believed to be in attendance at the scene.
