One person has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on the A82 south of Fort Augustus.
The busy trunk road was closed following a crash at the Bridge of Oich near Aberchader at around 2.30pm on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said: “The A82 is closed at Bridge of Oich following a crash that happened around 2.30pm on Sunday, 4 January.
“Emergency services attended and one person has been airlifted to hospital in Inverness.
“A diversion is in place along the A87 from Invergarry to Invermoriston. Road users are advised to avoid the area.”
The road was still closed at the time of writing, with Traffic Scotland last issuing an update at 6pm to say diversions remained in place.
