A total of 79 hundreds were scored across 42 men’s Test matches in 2025, by 49 batters. The number of hundreds was fewer than in 2024 (85) and 2022 (87), but more than in 2023 (62) and 2021 (58).

The newly appointed Indian Test captain led the list with five hundreds, followed by a former England captain with four. Tied at third place with three hundreds apiece were five batters – two openers from each of India and New Zealand, and a Bangladeshi who stood down as Test captain during the year.
