Water rescue teams raced to an incident at an Edinburgh beauty spot on Sunday, January 4. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to Threipmuir Reservoir, near the Pentlands at around 2.57pm.
While the exact nature of the incident is currently not known, the SFRS confirmed that they mobilised two water rescue teams and two appliances to the location.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were in attendance, we mobilised two water rescue teams and two appliances. We got the initial call at 2.47pm on Sunday, January 4.”
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
