Snow closing schools in North Wales
Heavy snow and freezing temperatures have caused major disruption over the weekend. The region has been impacted by wintry weather since Friday – with snow and ice causing travel issues.
Those warnings from the Met Office will continue to be in place for the rest of Sunday and into Monday. Significant further snowfall is forecast – alongside temperatures as low as minus 4 in places.
Up to now schools have been off for the Christmas break but many will be back open tomorrow.
However the weather may scupper the planned return for some schools across the region. Sign up for the North Wales Live newsletter sent twice daily to your inbox
