An artisan café has closed its doors after more than 10 years of serving customers.
The Hungry Guest in the High Street, West Malling, closed permanently on January 1.

The eatery, which opened in 2015 when it was headed by BBC Masterchef 1997 winner Julie Friend, posted a notice on its door informing customers.
It wrote: “We would like to thank all our customers for their custom and support over the years.
“It has been a pleasure serving the West Malling community, and your loyalty has been truly appreciated.”
The café, which has a “Good” Tripadvisor rating, served locally sourced food and was open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In the notice, it explained that The Hungry Guest Café will close “permanently” on January 1.

“Thank you for being part of our journey and for your continued support until our closure,” it added.
The business took over the former Mackenzie’s café in the High Street in April, 2015.
