As this Arctic chill continues to blast through Northern Ireland, a yellow weather warning has been extended into Tuesday 6th January.
“The UK will continue to experience a range of winter weather hazards through this week, explains Met Office Chief Meteorologist, Matthew Lehnert. Low temperatures as well as snow showers and the risk of ice are expected to continue.
More than 150 schools were closed today across NI due to adverse weather.
