Paige Lindsay, 30, sadly passed away in hospital on New Year’s Eve after falling unwell at home the previous day.
A fundraiser has since been launched by her family to help cover funeral costs, to donate click here.
The GoFundMe reads: “On December 31 2025, we sadly and suddenly lost our beautiful cousin Paige at the young age of 30.
“Anyone who has the privilege of meeting her knows how special this girl was.
“As a family, we are raising funeral funds to try and take some of the pressure off of her grieving parents and siblings at this unimaginable time.
“We would be eternally grateful for any donations – big or small, to give our Paige the best send off that she truly deserves.”
The fundraiser has already raised almost £9,000, far surpassing its original £2,000 target.
Friends and family have since flooded social media with tributes to Paige, saying that she “lit up the room every time you walked in.”
One person wrote: “Rest in peace, Paige. You were such a funny, bubbly person with such a big heart.”
Another said: “Paige, there are no words to describe how incredibly missed you will be by so many.
“You were the life and soul of the party, you lit up the room every time you walked in and had so much love and kindness to share with everyone around you.”
A third tribute read: “My beautiful wee cousin. I will miss you forever and love you till the end of time.”
