Sarah Paulson revealed a new tattoo honoring her former co-star Diane Keaton in a January 5 Instagram post. Located on Paulson’s outer wrist, the small ink is of Keaton’s initials, “DK,” and was done by celebrity tattoo artist Winterstone. “You would have been 80 today,” Paulson wrote in the caption. “Too many deep feelings to put here … I was the luckiest person in the world to have traveled, laughed so hard we cried, watched a million and one movies, really cried, and eaten French fries with you. You. You. Wondrous, singular, YOU. I will miss you till the end of time.” The two met filming the 1999 film The Other Sister, and Paulson delivered a tribute to Keaton at The Hollywood Reporter’s 2025 Women in Entertainment gala following Keaton’s death in October.
Keaton’s daughter, Dexter, also shared that she and her brother, Duke, got tattoos by Winterstone in her mother’s honor. “I miss you, mom 💔🕊️” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you @winterstone for my forever reminder of my wonderful mom.” Dexter’s tattoo reads “La di da,” and Duke’s is “Weird old world,” which are both quotes referencing their mother’s Oscar-winning role as the titular character in Annie Hall. Both Dexter’s and Paulson’s posts begin with silhouettes of themselves with Keaton, then show their wrist tattoos honoring Keaton.
