The win adds to an already impressive list of achievements, including first place at the Turkish Open in both 2024 and 2025.

Alex said: “Winning the Spanish Open is an incredible feeling. I’ve worked so hard this season, and competing against such talented players makes the victory even more special.”

He trains under coach Ryan Fenwick and also thanked his school and headteacher for their support in helping him balance his academic and sporting commitments.

Alex’s other titles include the Audi Masters and British Masters (2024), and the British Champion and Polish Champion titles (2023).

With his latest win, he now turns his attention to the Turkish Open, where he will attempt to claim a third consecutive title and begin the new year with a rare hat-trick.

Alex said winning the Spanish Open meant a lot to him and showed the value of hard work.

The event attracts top junior talent from across Europe, including strong competitors from Spain and Argentina, who finished second and third respectively.
