The HCOB Germany Services PMI was revised slightly higher to 52.7 in December 2025 from a preliminary of 52.6, and compared to 53.1 in November, final figures showed.

The reading showed the service sector growth eased for the second month running but remained solid.

The loss of momentum largely reflected a slower increase in new business.

Employment rose modestly and for the third straight month, but business expectations dropped to their lowest since April last year.

On the price front, there was a faster increases in both input costs and output charges, with the former rising at the quickest rate for ten months.
