Prince Harry is set to regain his tax-funded security in England, which could pave the way for his California-based family to finally make a trip to visit King Charles. But apparently the King is “wary” of a potential visit.

Royal expert Rebecca English reveals in the Daily Mail that her sources “say that while the King would never wish his younger son ill and has been ‘pained’ by the circumstances around their estrangement, he also remains extremely ‘wary’ of welcoming him back, given events of the past few years.”

She also reports that the King felt “railroaded” into his meeting with Prince Harry at Clarence House back in September and “knew that if he refused to meet Harry then this would inevitably have been ‘weaponized’ against him at some point in the future.”

Royal circles are also, apparently, of the belief that Harry will need to issue an apology
for the way he has behaved” if he wants to reunite with his family.

As for Harry’s security, People reports that insiders are hearing “positive” noises from the government regarding it being reinstated. The Mail on Sunday also quoted a source saying “It’s now a formality. Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is nailed on for Harry.”

In other words, it’s only a matter of time before Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet can safely visit England. Though the question of whether or not they’ll reunite with the royals is clearly up in the air!
