A man was seriously assaulted in a house on Robin Way, Woodchurch
A man is in a serious condition after he was assaulted inside a house. At around 8.15am on Sunday, January 4, North West Ambulance Service attended a house on Robin Way in Woodchurch after reports a man in his 20s had been seriously injured.
Paramedics notified Merseyside Police and Richard Phoenix, 38, of Robin Way, Woodchurch, was arrested at the scene. He has since been charged with section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was remanded and was due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today, January 6.
The victim was taken to hospital and remained in a serious but stable condition, Merseyside Police said this afternoon.
