A new farmers’ market is coming to Peckham
Peckham is already a neighbourhood filled with great food and come the end of January, it’s about to get even better as a new weekly farmers’ market will be pitching up on Bellenden Road. Launching on Sat 24th January and running every Saturday from 9.30am – 3pm at The Belham Primary School, Peckham Farmers’ Market will feature over 25 traders as well as street food, live music, coffee and wine.
The market will champion British and organic ingredients, including grass-fed meats, day-boat fish and regeneratively farmed produce, as well as featuring cheeses, charcuterie, antipasti, breads, and pastries from boutique European traders too. Expect to see rare veg from Wild Country Organics, French cheese and charcuterie from The French Comté, organic and grass-fed meat from Pick’s Organic Farm, organic breads made with heritage grains from Astons Bakehouse, and regeneratively farmed meat from Danefold Farm amongst the stalls.
If food shopping makes you hungry, you’ll be sorted on that front too with a variety of street food on offer, alongside wine, cocktails and coffee to sip on as you browse.
