Dakota Manchester Airport is set to offer guests a “seamless, premium stay” and includes a Champagne room and al fresco Cigar Terrace

New CGI images have offered a first look at Dakota Hotel Group’s new Manchester Airport property which is set to open on July 1 this year. The seven-story hotel will feature 154 bedrooms and has been designed for “travellers seeking a seamless, premium stay”.
Images show the luxurious interiors of the Classic King Rooms and Junior Suites with tasteful furnishings, providing travellers with a comfortable space to prepare for their journey ahead or recharge after their flight. Guests can dine at the hotel’s premium Bar and Grill, which feature sophisticated interior designs.
Other features include an al fresco Cigar Terrace and Humidor, private dining rooms and a dedicated Champagne Room. Cementing the hotel’s reputation as “a sophisticated social and business destination in its own right”, Dakota Manchester Airport will also feature “versatile events spaces”.
The £55million development is set to offer guests Dakota’s “signature blend of understated luxury and exceptional service” all on the doorstep of Manchester Airport. Guests will benefit from a dedicated shuttle service to airport terminals and on-site valet car parking.

Bookings have now opened for the hotel, which is “progressing rapidly” ahead of its July 1 opening. Prices start from £145 room only off-peak, and from £165 for a bed and breakfast rate.
Ahead of the opening Dakota Hotel Group are looking to recruit for senior roles from January, with opportunities to be part of the launch team. The Dakota Hotel Group was named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work in both 2024 and 2025 and has been ranked highly by Tripadvisor.

The New Manchester Airport hotel joins the brand’s other site in the city, Dakota Manchester on Ducie Street. Matt Townley, Group Operations Director, said: “Officially opening bookings for Dakota Hotel Manchester Airport marks a major milestone for the project and brings us another step closer to our highly anticipated launch.
“This development has been carefully designed to reflect the signature Dakota experience while responding to the needs of a highly connected, international location. Ahead of our planned 1 July 2026 opening, we’re delighted to be welcoming early interest and look forward to introducing a new standard of luxury hospitality at Manchester Airport.”
