Survivor-led Sisterhood Leeds is a survivor-run support space for women affected by domestic abuse.
It was created by women who’ve lived it — not studied it from the outside, not ticked boxes about it, but survived it and are still standing.
This is a place where you don’t have to explain yourself.
Where you’re believed the first time.
Where you don’t need to be “strong”, “positive”, or “over it”.
We offer relaxed, drop-in peer support — in person across Leeds and online via Zoom — for women who want connection, understanding, and safety without pressure.
No fixing. No judgement. No hierarchy.
Just women supporting women, exactly where they are.
Our new meet up groups are commencing soon. We will be arranging the first one in Middleton.

While you’re here, can we ask a favour?
South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise. We keep our costs as low as possible but we’ve been hit by increases in the print costs for our monthly newspaper which have doubled in the last two years.
