The Club Rooms is moving one step closer to opening at the historic Red Building at Old Bank of England Court in Norwich after further plans have been revealed.

Norwich City Council is currently considering a premises licence, submitted by business partners Fred Anthony and Stuart Wardle for the Queen Street location.

The pair secured planning permission in December to install golf simulation pods across three floors in the building and a licensed bar and lounge at the top.

They have now put in a further bid in which their opening times and sales of alcohol are being finalised.

Under the plans, a range of drinks will be served across the whole space, including beer, wine and spirits, from 9am to midnight every day of the week.

The partners also hope to open the site at 6am daily for access to the golf simulators.

People can comment on the application up until January 16 and a decision will be made by City Hall in due course.
