Bank of Scotland has announced the appointment of Alison Scott as Area Director for Glasgow and the West of Scotland, underscoring its commitment to driving business growth and prosperity across the region.
Scott will lead a team of experienced Relationship Directors and Relationship Managers and will support a diverse range of sectors including professional services, hospitality, manufacturing, retail and technology.
With more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking, Scott joins Bank of Scotland from Barclays, where she held the role of Relationship Director for Glasgow.
Scott’s career also includes nearly 15 years at Scottish Enterprise, leading strategic investment teams supporting high-growth Scottish companies and the transition to net zero. Scott also spent her early career as a Relationship Manager at Bank of Scotland, making this appointment a welcome return.
Based at the St Vincent Street office in Glasgow, Scott will oversee an experienced team dedicated to providing tailored guidance, local market insight and sector expertise. The appointment reinforces Bank of Scotland’s focus on building strong, lasting relationships and providing more than just financial services – combining tailored guidance, local knowledge and sector expertise to help firms succeed.
