Harry could be heard saying: “Over the years we’ve worked with you on how the digital spaces are deeply affecting our collective mental, emotional and physical health. And obviously a huge congratulations to you and the outcome of your research which has created a parent-led movement which is astonishing and much-needed.”

Meghan then added: “And that we’re proud to be a part of.”

Harry then said the insights of the authors have helped Harry and Meghan’s work with parents who have lost their children as a result of the dangers of phones and being online.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex feel passionately about this subject and set up The Parents’ Network through their charitable Archewell Foundation – which has been renamed Archewell Philanthropies – in 2024.

The network aims to help parents whose children have been harmed or who have lost their lives as a result of the negative impacts of social media and the online world.

Harry and Meghan have spoken about the subject many times, with fans online quick to praise the couple for the work they do in this area.

Speaking about Harry and Meghan’s video conversation on Oprah Daily this week, one fan commented online: “Really important conversation to have!”
