Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement to sign promising Senegalese defender Mor Ndiaye, GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Anfield side are reportedly closing in on the arrival of the highly rated centre-back following his impressive performances at the U17 World Cup in Qatar last year.
Ndiaye’s arrival is likely to follow the signing of Ifeane Ndukwe, whose move to Liverpool from Austria Wien was agreed last week.
Ndiaye plays for Senegalese second-tier side Amitie FC, which is owned by former Newcastle and Chelsea striker Demba Ba.

Romano, writing on X, revealed that Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement for Ndiaye’s arrival following his promising displays at the U17 World Cup.
Ndiaye stood out at the youth tournament in November, starting all four games for Senegal and helping the African side reach the round of 32.
The 17-year-old, who is a left-footed centre-back, impressed with his composure and quality on the ball, while his technical ability and reading of the game also stood out.
Ndiaye is expected to join Liverpool’s U21s under head coach Rob Page, alongside fellow anticipated arrival Ndukwe, who is set to join from Austria Wien after the season.
Liverpool Face Battle for Marc Guehi

Liverpool are facing a battle to sign their long-term target Marc Guehi ahead of the expiry of his contract at Crystal Palace.
The Eagles skipper is believed to be attracting interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, who are reportedly exploring a January move.
Liverpool targeted Guehi during the summer transfer window and were close to sealing a deal before Palace pulled out, as they were unable to sign a replacement in time.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner revealed on Wednesday that he believes Guehi will remain at Selhurst Park in January, despite emerging interest from Pep Guardiola’s side.
Liverpool could look to bring in Guehi as a replacement for centre-back Ibrahima Konate, whose contract also runs out at the end of the season.
