Three Amazfit products are set to receive their last round of new features and improvements in 2026. The end-of-life product list on a Zepp Health website names two smartwatches and one other wearable, which are currently on a two-year update cycle. However, there are some circumstances under which there could be future updates.
Two Amazfit smartwatches and one other wearable from the brand will receive their last typical software updates in 2026. Zepp Health, the company behind Amazfit products, has noted these devices on its end-of-life (EOL) product list.
Set to receive their last updates in 2026 are the Amazfit T-Rex 3 and Bip 5 Unity smartwatches, and the Amazfit Helio Ring (curr. $109.99 at Amazon). All of these products were released in 2024. According to the Zepp Security Updates page, the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity and Helio Ring will not be updated after April 2026, and the T-Rex 3 will receive its last set of features and improvements in September 2026, if not before.
This aligns with Zepp Health’s end-of-life policy. Devices released before June 2025 get updates for two years, and those released after that update are expected to receive new software for three years. There are a couple of exceptions, like the Amazfit Active 2 NFC (Round) smartwatch, which will get updates for 2.5 years, and the Amazfit Up Open-Ear Earbuds are scheduled to get updates for four years. Plus, should there be any major security issue, Zepp Health reassures customers that it could provide the relevant fix in an update, even when a product has reached the end-of-life stage.
