The Traitors is back for a fourth series to help us get through January. Expect more backstabbing, murders in plain sight, tense breakfasts, even tenser roundtables, and so-good-you’ll-squeal outfits.
Claudia and her brilliant stylist, Sinead McKeefry are here to provide all your winter wardrobe inspiration. So, get the cape out of the closet, slip on your fingerless gloves and pull up a seat.
We’ll be updating this article during every show to bring you each fabulous look – both the actual pieces and the affordable high-street alternatives. No show spoilers, we promise.
The question is, are you a fashion faithful? And can anyone play the game better (or worse??) than Alan…
Episode five, series four: The Yeti’s back!
Two words: YETI COAT.
But first, we got the plaid shirt (or should/dare we say shacket), fingerless gloves, Spanx triumvirate. Claudia’s shirt is from Petar Petrov, but it’s over £700, so we’ve shared a high-street option below. A great weekend piece to wear with your biker boots and leggings. Our queen’s boots are Miu Miu.

BBC
But, back to the Yeti coat. It’s not the original from Raey – this one’s from Connolly, but we’ve found a more affordable alternative at & Other Stories. Now, we’re off to have a biscuit and calm down…

Episode four, series four: Tailoring and tulle
BBC
So. Many. Twists.
This week, everything was flipped on its head and we started with some serious tailoring and a gorgeous grey double breasted trouser suit (now sadly out of stock at Essentiel Antwerp, a brand we love for its unique, quality pieces) and a ME+EM white shirt. We’ve shown how to recreate the look for less below with the help of Topshop’s iconic power suit. Traitors style note: always button your shirt up to the top.
Next up, if you’re not wearing tulle with your tartan, you’re doing it wrong.

BBC
For the trial in the rain, Claudia mixed classic Harris tweed checks with a frothy white ‘skirt’ and a Mr Mittens beanie (a moment for that giant Mr Mittens red knit from series 1) – putting a fanciful spin on our favourite winter classics. The coat is another pick from Brora.
But, don’t worry, we’ve found some more affordable high-street alternatives to pair with a floaty skirt (Claudia’s is actually a dress from Needle & Thread), and a warm knit inspired by her Hambro & Miller design (we’ve suggested a men’s Uniqlo option for the oversized look below as Claudia often borrows from the boys).

Episode three, series four: Prints charming
BBC

BBC
A unique Saturday outing, a massive cliffhanger, and our favourite look of the series so far. This burgundy printed co-ord, with a pussybow blouse and culottes (worn with yellow Paris Texas boots), is a throwback to the popular Kate Space two-piece from series 3.
After much research (determined Googling), it looks like the co-ord is an old Zara ZW Collection set, which is sadly out of stock. However, that gorgeous brown wool coat is still available from Brora (although it’s pricey – we’ve found an affordable alternative below) and we’ve hunted out some pieces to help you get a similar look. Just swap your boots for brogues if you need to do a spot of art shopping (Claudia’s are Grenson).
Alternatively, if you want to shop in your own wardrobe, we suggest investing in a camel knitted vest (Claude’s is Le Kilt) and layering it over your favourite printed midi or tonal blouse and tailored burgundy trousers.

Episode two, series four: Le kilt
BBC
We always love a kilt moment and Claudia didn’t disappoint with this print clash combo. The cosy Fair Isle knitted vest is from UK brand Hambro & Miller, which specialises in beautiful hand-knitted clothing.
She’s layered that over one of her favourite fine polo-necks from COS (honestly, if you spot them in stock, buy in every shade to get you through winter), and the kilt is from show favourite, Le Kilt.

The green coat for the challenge was, aptly, the Iona Traitors design from luxury Irish textile brand, The Landskein – we’ve found a similar style from Reiss and an option without a belt from Arket. As for those fabulous burgundy boots, they’re from The Row, but don’t worry, we’ve found a pair that won’t cost you £540.

Episode one, series four: We’re back!
BBC
Episode one was full of twists that we’re still trying to get our head around, but the first outfits of the series were classic Claudia. To start, we had the velvet blazer from Jigsaw (it’s low in stock so we’ve included some alternatives below), and Spanx legging combination we’ve seen before – paired with a pale pink blouse, which has now been confirmed as LK Bennett and is still in stock!
For the trial, she went for a flannel shirt from another old faithful brand, Purdey, and an oversized black pea coat, which looks like this gorgeous Saint Laurent oversized wool design. They were worn with her favourite Spanx and Dr. Martens (we’ve linked the exact pair below). Helpfully, the high street has plenty of affordable options.
Aaand we’re back…

Claude’s past style influences include Ronnie Corbett, Princess Anne, Siouxsie Sioux and The Cure’s Robert Smith. This time round, stylist McKeefry has promised a continuation of the punk influences we saw in Celebrity Traitors, along with some throwbacks to classic heritage pieces from series past.
The first look shared ahead of the new series has a 1970s silhouette, albeit with a Scottish Highlands twist. There’s a flared trouser (from Reiss and in the sale – grab them while you can below), those Givenchy Shark Lock boots in green, a herringbone tweed waistcoat from Cordings of Piccadilly and a gorgeous green striped blouse with bell sleeves from a boutique called Through The Trees on Lordship Lane in Dulwich, London (we’ll see you there).

Fortunately, this look is easy to replicate on the high street. We’d head to some of McKeefry’s favourite brands for tailoring, including Reiss and The Kooples, while Sister Jane does a wide range of pretty blouses.

A velvet blazer for evening roundtables is a must, while it’s all about classic coats inspired by brands like Burberry and Bella Freud for daytime.

To finish, add some Brora fingerless gloves and Bottega Veneta-inspired boots. Oh, and lashings of eyeliner, fake tan and a machiavellian glint.
