The FA Cup takes centre stage for several Socceroos this weekend, with Australian involvement spread across a busy third-round schedule in England.

At the same time, relegation battles are beginning to intensify across Europe, with key fixtures set to shape the coming weeks. Read on to find out all about the Socceroos Abroad action!

Starting in Italy’s Serie A, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) played all of Parma’s 2-0 loss to Inter Milan on Thursday. They return to action on Sunday at 10:30pm (AEDT) against U.S. Lecce in a mid table clash.

In Spain, Maty Ryan (cap #555) is set to start in goal for Levante when they host Espanyol on Monday at 2:15am (AEDT), with the club sitting three points from safety in LaLiga.

Ryan produced an incredible double-save from the penalty spot as Levante claimed a season-changing away win over Sevilla FC last weekend.

In the FA Cup third round, Sam Silvera (cap #634) is likely to feature for Middlesbrough when they face Fulham on Sunday at 2am (AEDT), after opening his account for the season in last weekend’s 4-0 win over Southampton. Riley McGree’s (cap #509) availability remains uncertain as he continues to manage a hamstring issue.

Elsewhere, Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) should be involved for Watford when they travel to Bristol City on Sunday at 4:45am (AEDT), while Callum Elder (cap #614) and Derby County host Premier League side Leeds United on Sunday at 11pm (AEDT).

Cameron Burgess (cap #633) and Swansea City take on West Bromwich Albion on Monday at 1:30am (AEDT), with further Australian interest seeing Adrian Segecic’s Portsmouth host Premier League leaders Arsenal an hour earlier. Lewis Miller’s (cap #635) Blackburn Rovers also face Hull City at the same time.

Elsewhere in the competition, Gethin Jones (cap #639) should feature for MK Dons against Oxford United on Saturday at 6:30am (AEDT). 

Joe Gauci (cap #631) may also feature for Port Vale when they face Fleetwood on Saturday at 6:30am (AEDT). 

In EFL League One, Alex Robertson (cap #630) should feature for Cardiff City on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) when they travel to Leyton Orient FC.

In the Eredivisie, Jordan Bos (cap #632) and Feyenoord travel to SC Heerenveen looking to narrow the eleven point gap on league leaders PSV on Sunday at 10:15pm (AEDT). 

Ajdin Hrustic‘s (cap #589) Heracles Almelo also face Sparta Rotterdam on Monday at 2:45am (AEDT). The club sits in the relegation zone on goal difference. 

Elsewhere in the league, Max Balard (cap #652) should also feature on Sunday at 7am (AEDT) when NAC Breda face FC Groningen.

In Germany’s Bundesliga, Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) and Jackson Irvine (cap #568) should be involved for St. Pauli when they return to action on Sunday at 1:30am (AEDT) against fourth-placed RB Leipzig. St Pauli sit one point above the relegation zone.

In Scotland, Nicolas Milanovic (cap #651) was an unused substitute in a 2-0 loss to Rangers on Wednesday.

He could feature alongside Kusini Yengi (cap #638) when they return to league action on Monday at 3:30am (AEDT) against Rangers again.

Martin Boyle (cap #599) and Jack Iredale could also feature in the league for Hibernian when they host Apostolos Stamatelopoulos’ (cap #644) Motherwell on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

Elsewhere in Scotland, Cameron Devlin‘s (cap #625) Heart of Midlothian FC travel to Dundee on Monday at 1am (AEDT) as they look to maintain their place at the top of the league, having gone six points clear of Celtic and Rangers.

Ryan Strain‘s (cap #624) Dundee United also travel to Celtic on Sunday at 2am (AEDT), looking to break into the top six.

Ryan McGowan‘s (cap #546) Livingston face Kilmarnock on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).

Keanu Baccus’ (cap #628) St Mirren return to action on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) against Falkirk while Livingston host Kilmarnock at the same time.

CommBank Young Socceroo James Overy, who earned a maiden Socceroos call-up for November, is likely to feature for Manchester United U21 against Wolves U21 this weekend in Premier League 2.

Moving back to the Netherlands, Josh Nisbet (#642) should feature again for Roda JC Kerkrade when they host VVV on Sunday at 10:15pm (AEDT). 

In Spain’s second tier, Awer Mabil (cap #597) should feature for Castellon when they face Granada CF on Monday at 2:15am (AEDT). Mabil signed a contract extension with the club until 2028. They are fighting fiercely for an automatic promotion position as CD Castellon are just four points away from first position.

In Thailand, Kenny Dougall (cap #608) and Curtis Good (cap #569) should feature for Buriram United when they face Uthai Thani FC on Sunday at 11pm (AEDT).

In the FA Cup third round, Raphael Borges Rodrigues could get minutes for Wigan Athletic against Preston North End FC on Saturday at 6:30am (AEDT).
