Glasgow police have recovered four stolen cars during three days of action in the southside of the city. Between Tuesday, January 6, and Thursday, January 8, officers recovered the cars in Darnley, Crookston and Cardonald.

Police say through diligence led enquiries, officers were able to secure the vehicles from being used in criminality. Pictures shared by police show two of the vehicles, a red Ford and a blue Ford, being recovered by officers.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland confirmed their investigations remain ongoing.

Posting to X, Greater Glasgow Police said: “Pollok community officers have today recovered their 4th stolen vehicle in 3 days. Through diligent, intelligence led enquires they managed to secure these vehicles from potentially being used in criminality.

“Please report any suspicious activity via 101.”

Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Officers are investigating the theft of a number of vehicles in Glasgow and the surrounding areas in recent months.

“Following enquiries, four stolen vehicles were recovered in the Darnley, Crookston and Cardonald areas of Glasgow between Tuesday, 6 January, and Thursday, 8 January, 2026.

“Enquiries are continuing.”
