Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press, whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards a tidy Lucky 15 involving four of their picks. Enjoy!

Old Cowboy was quite impressive when rewarding good market support at Newbury 12 days ago and remains lightly raced over fences, but one who could have even more potential is PESO, who has raced only four times under rules and made a very encouraging seasonal/chase debut in November. Solid cases can also be made for Go West, Lookaway and Leader In The Park, who may all contest the early lead.

Preference is for DREAM PIRATE, who has returned to the AW with two eye-catching efforts this winter, including a strong-finishing fourth at Southwell last month. He’s now only 1lb higher than for his last win and could be a big factor on this step back up in trip. Recent Wolverhampton third Flightofthephoenix is feared most ahead of Meet Me in Meraki, who has reached the frame in his last two starts and should be unfazed by this drop back to 1m2f.

Most of these have something to prove, but GOGO YUBARI made it 5-11 on AW at Lingfield when forging clear over C&D on Wednesday. She remains feasibly treated under a penalty and may well be able to strike again to make it three wins from her last four starts. The big danger is Hint Of Humour, who has finished first past the post in four of her last five runs and ran another good race when a close third at Wolverhampton two weeks ago.

Thriving mare SECOND FIDDLE continued her remarkable progress since the autumn with yet another C&D win 12 days ago and is taken to overcome her latest rise. Eligible (second choice) is long in the tooth now, but he looked in excellent nick at Southwell recently and is still on a workable mark. Just Typical will be suited by today’s move back up in trip, while handicap debutant Mao Shang Wong is open to improvement.
