New display has ‘caught attention of passers-by’
Amanda Truman, owner of Truman Books, said: “We are delighted to have been selected by Netflix to celebrate an author as widely regarded and successful as Agatha Christie.
“ This collaboration shows that books are hugely important alongside film and TV adaptations, working hand in hand to tell a story.
“Netflix, by choosing to link with indie bookshops like us, is helping to encourage people to explore the books behind the screen adaptations and make reading a relevant and fun part of the everyday.
“The display in our window has really caught the attention of passers-by. It’s been a delight to see everyone, school children in particular, stopping to look.
“The giant, recognisable ‘N’ has drawn them in and highlighted that books are relevant to TV and film.
