Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press, whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards a tidy Lucky 15 involving four of their picks. Enjoy!

A race with a good recent history, the likes of Envoi Allen, Bob Olinger, Spillane’s Tower and Lecky Watson on the roll of honour. None of the five can be ruled out. Gigginstown’s strong hand is headed by PREDATORS GOLD, impressive on returning from a long absence at Navan, and he could prove hard to beat. Jacob’s Ladder and Pure Steel may prove next best.

ROE AND CO is 4lb higher than when all out to complete his hat-trick at Leicester in early December (2m6f, good to firm; won a point on soft) but the front two were clear and he’s very lightly raced for one of his age. Looking for a fourth win in a row in three months. He’s unraced beyond 3m so will need to get home.

Having belatedly got off the mark in a classified at Southwell on Tuesday, KNIGHT OF MAGIC can follow up that clearcut win with another victory. Al Shabab is second choice on this drop in grade, while Marinakis showed early last year that he’s capable at this level.

16:00 Fontwell – Kool Kid

Having posted a solid effort switched to handicap level last time, KOOL KID may well be the answer, especially if keeping straighter. Activist (second choice), Bridge and Motazzen are respected on their course form, while Kajikia, I Play County and Northanger Abbey are interesting handicap debutants.
