Aston Villa and Birmingham City will discover their FA Cup fourth round opponents on Monday evening (January 12).
Seven Gerrard and Joe Cole will make the draw a Anfield at about 6.35pm ahead of Liverpool’s third round tie against Barnsley. It will be streamed live on TNT Sports, discovery+ and the TNT Sports YouTube channel, with coverage scheduled to start at 6.30pm.
Villa are ball number three and Blues are number 27. Giant killers Macclesfield are 30.
Ties will be played on the weekend of February 14, meaning that Birmingham will have to rearrange a Championship home match against West Brom that had been pencilled in for that date.
Clubs received £121.500 prize money for winning their third round ties. Villa secured a fine win at Spurs while Birmingham won 3-2 at Cambridge United.
A win in the fourth round is worth £127,000, with no money for the losers, and it’s £238,500 for a win in the fifth round plus £477,000 for a win in the quarter-finals. Semi-final winners collect £1.06 million and losers at that stage get £530,000. The winners in the final are awarded £2.12m and the runners-up get another £1.06m.
Teams who were shown live on TV in the third round received an extra £80,000 broadcast fee. Clubs who were selected for TV at the fourth round stage last season received an extra £110,000.
Gate receipts are split 45:45:10 in the FA Cup between both sides and the FA.
