Cinema box office takings in Northern Ireland plunged in 2025, with industry experts citing last summer’s soaring temperatures as a key factor behind falling attendances.
Northern Irish cinemas recorded total box office takings of £26,873,130 last year, a 7.7% drop from the previous year’s bumper figure of over £29.1m.
