Mary Poppins the Musical will arrive at the Liverpool Empire Theatre for a three-week run starting January 14.

Produced by Cameron Mackintosh and Disney, the show is based on the stories by P.L. Travers and the iconic Walt Disney film, telling the story of the world’s most famous nanny.

The stage adaptation has wowed audiences worldwide since premiering in 2004 and has collected more than 50 major international awards, including two Olivier Awards.

With dazzling choreography, incredible effects, and unforgettable songs.

Fans will hear all the classics including Jolly Holiday, Step in Time, Feed the Birds, and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

The cast will feature Stefanie Jones and Jack Chambers in the roles of Mary Poppins and Bert.

They will be joined by international recording artist and actress Lyn Paul as the Bird Woman.

Ms Paul has reprised the role of Mrs Johnston in the Merseyside-based musical Blood Brothers for over 23 years.

Mary Poppins the Musical has been seen by more than 15 million people worldwide and has been translated into 13 languages.

The production features original songs by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, alongside new music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

The show will run at the Liverpool Empire Theatre from January 14 to January 31.
