There was no inheritance involved, no high-paying corporate role, and no sudden jump in income. What stood out instead was discipline stretched over time.
What’s the secret formula?When Kaushik asked how the purchase was managed, the answer was simple. Over 12 years, the individual saved ₹45 lakh and took a modest home loan of ₹10 lakh. There was no anxiety around EMIs or inflation, just steady planning and confidence built over years of preparation.
The wealth was not created through aggressive investing or complex financial products. Savings were spread across recurring deposits, gold savings schemes, and small local real estate investments near the person’s village outside Surat. The approach was slow but deliberate, focused on consistency rather than speed.
Over time, these decisions compounded quietly. The person already owned a two-storey house and a small commercial shop in the village, both of which were rented out.
