
A MAN has died in hospital after he was injured in an horror incident at a Scots demolition site.
Emergency services rushed to Waverley Road in Paisley, Renfrewshire, at after the alarm was raised on Friday morning.

Multiple buildings on the street are being demolished
A Scottish Ambulance Service trauma team and special operations team attended and a 36-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Cops said the man remained in a critical condition overnight and died in hospital on Saturday.
The Health and Safety Executive, the national regulator for workplace health and safety, has been informed of the tragedy.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service, said: “We received a call to attend an incident on Waverley Road in Paisley.

“We dispatched one ambulance, our trauma team and our special operations team to the scene.
“We transported one male patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15am on Friday, we were called to a demolition site on Waverley Road in Paisley after a man was injured.
“The 36-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment, where he died on Saturday.

“An investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing and the Health and Safety Executive have been informed.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
Pictures from the scene showed a dilapidated building with cops, fire crews and ambulances in attendance.
Following the incident, the road and an adjacent footpath were closed off.
