(New London MN-) Two people were hurt in a pickup-SUV crash near New London Sunday afternoon. The state patrol says it was reported at 12:36 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 71 and Highway 40, west of New London. An SUV driven by a 16-year-old girl was eastbound on Highway 40, and a pickup driven by 61-year-old Todd Sjoberg of Sunburg was northbound on 71 when they collided. The girl was not transported to the hospital, but Sjoberg was taken to CentraCare Rice Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries.
