The latest UK season of The Traitors has been a hit, pulling in record audiences, and now the US version has also just launched a new series stateside. British fans have now been left wondering if they will be able to watch the spin-off show.

The US version is hosted by BAFTA host Alan Cumming and unlike its UK counterpart, which focuses on civilians, it primarily features celebrities from reality and competition shows.

The first three seasons were all available on BBC iPlayer, and it’s widely anticipated that the fourth will follow suit.

However, British fans will have to wait a bit longer for any official details, as there’s no news yet on a confirmed release date.

For the third season last year, the first five episodes were released on iPlayer immediately after the UK run finished in late January, allowing viewers to quickly catch up with the US version.

But this year, there’s a twist. It’s been confirmed that the Irish version of the show, hosted by Derry Girls favourite Siobhan McSweeney, will be available on iPlayer on Saturday, 24 January; one day after the UK finale on Friday, 23 January.

If the BBC only wants to release one version at a time, the US series might have to wait until later in the year – although, again, any official announcement is still pending.

This year’s US cast includes Real Housewives stars Porsha Williams, Lisa Rinna, Dorinda Medley and Candiace Dillard-Bassett. Medley also participated last year but will she have better luck in 2026?

Among the other participants are RuPaul’s Drag Race star Monét X Change, Big Brother US contestants Ian Terry and Tiffany Mitchell, and Love Island UK’s Maura Higgins.

Taylor Swift’s future mother-in-law Donna Kelce is also taking part, as well as Olympians Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski, The Bachelorette’s Colton Underwood, Ladies of London’s Caroline Stanbury, actor Michael Rapaport, musician Eric Nam, Top Chef’s Kristen Kish and comedian Ron Funches.

The line-up is completed by Laguna Beach’s Stephen Colletti, Survivor’s Rob Cesternino and Yamil Arocho, Love Island USA’s Rob Rausch.

As well as Dancing with the Stars favourite (and Shirley Ballas’ son) Mark Ballas and The Amazing Race’s Natalie Anderson.

Back here in the UK, one of the most dramatic confrontations in the show’s history was broadcast the other night when two Traitors openly clashed.

As expected viewers watching at home can’t get enough of the drama as they question how this impacts the game moving forward.

The Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
