Birmingham has a storied musical history. An outpost for the industrial techno sound pioneered by producers and DJs like Surgeon and Regis, the city was also home to Que Club, which hosted the trio’s House of God nights and sets from The Chemical Brothers and Altern 8. That’s without mentioning UB40, one of Birmingham’s most well-loved, homegrown acts.
Que Club may have closed in 2017, but Birmingham’s club scene is lively. Whether it’s massive warehouses, LGBTQ+ clubs or basement sweatboxes, clubgoers have no shortage of choice when it comes to finding the best clubs in Birmingham for a night out.
So, without further ado, here are the best nightclubs in Birmingham for dance music lovers and those looking for a knockout weekend.
