An E-fit image has been released after a man flashed a pair of women in a Sheffield suburb on New Year’s Day.

According to South Yorkshire Police, two women were walking along Broom Walk at around 4am on January 1, 2026, when a man exposed himself to them.

The man then suddenly grabbed one of the women, before the pair managed to flee.

Ongoing equiries have led the police to release an E-fit of the man – described as Asian, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, in his early 20s. At the time of the exposure, he had short dark hair and was wearing a bright blue puffer jacket.

A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Police said: “We are releasing an e-fit of a man we would like to speak to in connection with an exposure incident on New Year’s Day in Sheffield.

“Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident was reported to us, including speaking to witnesses and conducting CCTV trawls, and officers have now released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to as it is believed he may be able to help officers with their enquiries.”
