Series three of Beyond Paradise came to an end on Friday – and fans were left heartbroken
Beyond Paradise ended in heartbreak on Friday night after Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) and Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) bid an emotional farewell to their foster daughter Rosie (Bella Rei Blue Stevenson).
Throughout the episode, emotions were at an all-time high as the couple prepared to throw Rosie a birthday party with all her new friends from school.
However, as the party came to an end, Humphrey and Martha received the phone call they were dreading – Rosie’s mum was ready to have her home.
At first, the news didn’t go down well with Rosie, but in the end, she admitted to feeling happy and sad about going back to her mum’s.
As the emotional scenes played out, Martha’s mum, Anne (Barbara Flynn), gave Rosie a big hug and said: “Take care of yourself, won’t you?”

Rosie nodded as she replied: “I will, you too.”
As Martha hugged Rosie, she sobbed and told her: “You’re family now. So, if you ever need anything.”
“Yes, anything at all,” Humphrey echoed as Martha added, “We are only a phone call away.”
“Is it ok to be happy and sad at the same time?” Rosie asked as Martha reassured: “Of course it is.”
It was a heartbreaking moment for Martha and Humphrey
“That is how I feel, then,” Rosie said emotionally before saying goodbye.
This wasn’t the only heartbreak in the episode as Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) told Archie (Jamie Bamber) she wasn’t going to change her mind about their relationship.
Fans were left feeling emotional about the split and took to social media to share their thoughts.

“I really wish Esther wasn’t scared and hadn’t dumped Archie. They were good for each other #BeyondParadise,” another stated.
Someone else penned: “I’m hoping Archie is going to win her back next ep – they are great together, don’t ruin it.”
