Thursday, 15th January 2026, marks the return of the Bristol Comedy Festival as they prepare to host their second year of bringing together some of the best comedy talents in one place. Taking place in various locations across Bristol, the festival is set to last two weeks, concluding on Saturday, 31st January 2026.
With 150+ shows in 30+ locations, Bristol Comedy Festival is stacked with a mixture of local legends, rising stars and some big names that’ll brighten up the gloomy vibes of January; with Maise Adams, Rob Copland, Jin Hao Li, Sharon Wanjohi, Bella Hull, Josh Weller, Tadiwa Mahlunge, Katie Morris, Jayde Adams, Milo Edwards and so many more.
This edition will also see the return of the Bristol Comedy Competition, with comedians going head-to-head in heats to decide a winner. The semi-finals of the competition will be at The Comedy Box and the final at The Bristol Folk House on Friday, 30th January.
This year, the festival is once again helping raise funds for local homelessness charities, with support from Bristol BID. Donations from The King Street Takeover, which is returning on Tuesday, 20th January, will go to TAP.
