Australian rivals the Western Force and Queensland Reds will play the first 2026 Super Rugby Pacific pre-season fixture next week, with all 11 trial venues and dates confirmed ahead of round one on February 13.

Super Rugby Pacific has released the full schedule of pre-season matches across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. While most of these fixtures had already been announced by each club, fans can now see a complete list of who is playing where and when.

The Force host the first pre-season bout against the Reds at Perth’s Scots College, with that game getting underway at 4:35 pm WST on Friday, January 23. There are no other fixtures next week, before a block of four matches on Friday, January 30.

Sacred Heart College in Auckland is the venue for a matchup between the Blues and Hurricanes at 1:30 pm NZT, before the Crusaders play the Highlanders later that afternoon (3:30 pm NZT) at Fraser Park in Timaru.

2025 runners-up the Chiefs take on the Fijian Drua at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui, which fielded the Ignite7 tournament and SVNS Series warm-up fixtures last month. In the final match of the day, the Force return to Scotch College for their second pre-season fixture, facing the ACT Brumbies.

The Reds and arch-rivals the NSW Waratahs go head-to-head at Brisbane’s Ballymore Stadium on Saturday, January 31. It’s a quick turnaround for the Tahs, who travel to Marist College Rugby Grounds in Canberra for a clash with the Brumbies five days later.

Moana Pasifika will take part in their first pre-season match when they come up against the Highlanders at Queenstown Events Centre on Friday, February 6. The Blues play the Crusaders and the Drua face Fiji Provincial Selection Team in matches that afternoon.

In the final match of the Super Rugby Pacific pre-season window, the Hurricanes take on the Chiefs at Jerry Collins Stadium in Porirua. This fixture was confirmed by the Canes earlier this week, with the ground hosting an open training session on the Thursday before the match.

“Really excited to be able to play at Jerry Collins Stadium here in Porirua. He played a massive role in the club, and it’s awesome to be able to repay that in some way,” Hurricanes midfielder Riley Higgins said.

“It’s special to play in a community like Porirua, and we know the fans will be there in full force. We can’t wait to see everyone there and mix and mingle after the game.”
