Chesney Hawkes, one of the biggest pop stars of his era, thanks to his mega-hit “The One and Only,” has announced he will be going on tour this spring, and he will be performing a gig in Manchester. Having spent over a decade in LA, Chesney is back, with his long-awaited comeback album Living Arrows securing BBC Radio 2’s coveted ‘Album of the Week’, and spawning the hit radio singles Get A Hold Of Yourself, Live Forever and LOUD!.

With regular major television appearances, including his iconic BBC Radio 2 Piano Room and recent advance to the final of Celebrity Big Brother, Chesney is very much back in our lives, our ears, and our hearts. The singer has completed a huge run of live shows: first touring arenas across Europe as a special guest to James Blunt and then selling out his current UK headline run. Chesney Hawkes will kick off his UK tour in Bath on March 5 before heading to Gloucester, Kendal, Glasgow, Carlisle, Stockton, Leeds, and then Band on the Wall in Manchester on March 13.

The singer from Windsor began his career at the age of 19 when he appeared in the film Buddy’s Song, which featured his best-known single The One and Only, which topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks. The song also featured in the 1991 film Doc Hollywood and the 2009 movie Moon.

The Living Arrows album, which is out now, was produced and co-written by the BRIT Award winner and Grammy nominee Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, One Direction).
