Darlington Holistic Therapies, based on High Northgate, confirmed the news “with great sadness” on Tuesday (January 14).
The shop, which first opened its doors in July 2024, offered everything from massages, crystal healing, gua sha and cupping treatments.
But owner Victoria now says she is moving on to practice traditional Chinese medicine, and thanked “loyal customers” past and present for their support.
A statement posted on their Facebook page read: “It is with great sadness to announce that Darlington Holistic Therapies is closed for good.
“It is also with great excitement to see where my next path will take me, as I have decided to take a new direction with the traditional Chinese medicine.
“Thank you to all my loyal customers that made my little business what it was and it was lovely to meet some really lovely people during that period, some I now call my friends.
“It was a pleasure to meet you all and I wish you all the best for the future. Love, light and many blessings to you all.”
