Emma Talbot’s Everything is Energy remains open for visitors until February 8, exploring themes such as life, energy, and human connection with the natural and technological worlds.

The Echoes exhibition concludes on January 25, the final day to view this assembly of works from the Jerwood Collection that delve into themes of memory, the cyclicality of life, and our connection to nature and place.

The live programme includes an assortment of activities for visitors to experience.

On January 24, the Shui Mo Ensemble, known for their music blending Western and East Asian traditions, will return with what should be a transcultural music exchange event.

On February 5, Kamina Walton and Hannah Sullivan will present Catching Sight of My Reflection, a work-in-progress exploring the ageing process of women through improvised movement and shared writing.

The Arnolfini’s engagement programme goes beyond picturesque exhibitions by also integrating programmes to foster deeper engagement with the artwork.

It includes audio-described tours with a Spanish-language guided tour of Everything is Energy, as well as a series of creative workshops and participatory sessions organised throughout the month.

Green Team: Woven Narratives – Weaving Stories Against Fast Fashion on Friday, January 23 will explore the environmental and social impact of fast fashion in a hands-on workshop with artist Pearl Oakwood.

Participants will learn basic carpet-weaving using recycled textiles, share stories about clothing, and reflect on sustainability through slow, mindful making.

Portrait Club on Sunday, January 25 is a relaxed afternoon drawing faces, meeting new people, and getting creative in Arnolfini’s theatre.

It is open to all levels, with all materials and drawing boards provided. Volunteer sitters change every 15 minutes.

There will also be a Wellbeing Workshop on Thursday, January 29, inspired by Arnolfini’s current exhibitions and from Thursday, January 15, Arnolfini is partnering with OTR to offer a free weekly Creative Space for 18–25 year olds.

Meanwhile Arnolfini’s Season of Healing is under way, offering a chance to delve into concepts of well-being, repair, and collective wellness through a series of activities, discussions, and contemplation spaces.
