Atletico Madrid are not alone in their transfer interest in Man Utd target Joao Gomes

Man Utd-linked Joao Gomes is under contract with Wolves until 2030 and the Brazil international has made 113 appearances for the struggling Premier League club.

The Atletico Madrid target has been at the Molineux since 2023 after he was signed from Brazilian side Flamengo for a reported £15m transfer fee.

Lyall Thomas claimed that Atletico have not made ‘formal contact’ with Man Utd target Gomes, but the Brazilian is ‘one of two top targets’ for the Spanish club.

It has also been added that defending Serie A champions Napoli have ‘also had a look’ at former Flamengo midfielder Gomes amid the Red Devils’ transfer interest.
