Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a shoulder injury.
The 20-year-old Northern Ireland international suffered the injury to his left shoulder in the FA Cup third-round defeat by Brentford on Saturday.
He missed three months of the season with an injury to his right shoulder earlier this campaign.
Boss Henrik Pedersen told BBC Radio Sheffield the administration-hit side were now in talks with other clubs about bringing in a goalkeeper.
Logan Stretch, 19, replaced Charles at the weekend for his first appearance in senior football.
Meanwhile, Charles will look to get back to full fitness in time for his country’s World Cup play-off semi-final against Italy on 26 March.
“He was in a good flow and going so well, strong defensively and strong with his feet,” Pedersen said.
“So of course he is sad, and now he is off until Monday, he can rest a little bit and then we will start the next step with him.”
