CTI Digital has named Vivian Spencer as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Spencer joins the Manchester company to lead its technology roadmap and strengthen its technical operations.

He arrives with decades of experience including more than 10 years as CTO at Creation Agency. He was also Technical Director at By Inspiration for 18 years and has been CTO at Pitchfire since 2022.

“My vision for CTI’s technology direction centres on three pillars: operational excellence, strategic AI integration, and reusable foundations for scalable delivery,” he explained.

“I’m focused on building robust systems, implementing strong engineering metrics, enhancing our testing frameworks, and enabling our teams to consistently deliver brilliant work at scale.”

Head of Delivery, Katie Livingstone added:

CEO, Chris Burgess explained that his arrival also bolstered the company’s AI capabilities, following increased demand for AI consultancy across areas including generative engine optimisation (GEO) and agentic workflows.
